Veg-burger at…Subway

Finally, fast-food chains are catching on. Following after Freshness burger is Subway.

We always had the vegetarian sub — or avocado-veg, but now we have a new option.

From January 13th, Subway’s coming out with two new subs — the “veg-dog” and “veg-burger.”

The veg-burger patty is made from soy, veggies and grains flavored with a “spicy-oriental-ginger sauce.” 286 calories, 390 yen (regular size)

This one’s 100% meat-free — but you always have to be extra careful in this country. Despite its name, the veg-dog CONTAINS PORK.

Sorry folks, the burger isn’t veggie either – it contains chicken stock.

thanks for info, NICK! i was going to try one.
how about reporting it to SUBWAY in the states? maybe they might reconsider.
